Eli Manning Denies Calling "Trump" Audible
Matt Dunham/ [object Object] In the second quarter of the Giants’ 17-10 win over the Rams in London, on-field mics caught Eli Manning calling for an audible at the line of scrimmage. It sure as hell sounded like, “Trump Trump, Trump Trump.”
Listen for yourself:
Asked about it after the game, Manning denied it, though it was kind of an oddly worded denial:
“No. No Trump call. No Trump call,” Manning said. “We had something very similar, but no. No. It was not a Trump. So no, no audible this week.”
I’m not sure if I believe him, given that it wouldn’t be only Trump audible in the NFL.
If there is a “Trump” audible, what do you think it is?
