Marshawn Lynch had a relatively pedestrian game with 59 total rushing yards—including one impressive 25-yard run—in the Seahawk's 31-17 win over the Panthers, but after the game, the taciturn running back had to answer questions. His response of the week: "I'm thankful."

Lynch quite clearly did not want to talk, and this is not new, but he had to say something if the media approached him after the game, so he did to avoid a fine. It's a silly cycle enjoyed by no one involved. Well, you can observe it without consequences. No one will dock your pay.
