Ex-MLS Defender Robbie Russell Struggles Mightily During NBCSN Debut
Robbie Russell joined NBCSN's MLS coverage today and it got off to a pretty horrible start. Russell is providing color commentary for the New England Revolution-Chicago Fire match and had a couple of massive brain farts during the introductory segment.
He starts off OK, but once he stumbles, he stumbles hard. At one point, you can hear him get audibly upset with himself. There is nothing worse than the sigh of disappointment we all utter to ourselves every now and then; Robbie Russell just did it on television. Russell, who played for Real Salt Lake and D.C. United, did gather himself and finished the segment strong but, oof, that was rough.
