Fan From 49ers Bathroom Fight Sentenced To Five Years In Prison
Amador Rebollero, one of the men involved in a fight at a 49ers game last October that left one man with a severe head injury, has been sentenced to five years in prison.
Rebollero, 28, pleaded no contest to two counts of assault by means of force likely to cause great bodily injury, charges that could have resulted in a nine-year sentence. Rebollero’s attorney gave a brief statement to SF Gate:
“Amador Rebollero accepts full responsibility for the harm that he caused to these two men, and he hopes that both of them continue to recover and heal.”
One of the victims, an unidentified 32-year-old man, was hospitalized with bleeding of the brain and had to have surgery to remove a portion of his skull. Rebollero’s brother, Dario, was also charged with a single count of assault stemming from the same incident. He has pleaded not guilty, and is scheduled to go to trial on Aug. 31.
