"Kacper will be an important addition for our partner club FC Lugano," said Georg Heitz, Fire sporting director. "It's no secret that we have been planning to move Kacper prior to the start of the 2024 season. This transfer will provide additional reinforcements for FC Lugano while also providing Kacper with an opportunity to play in a competitive European league."
Przybylko, 30, played three seasons with the Philadelphia Union before being acquired by the Fire on Jan. 22, 2022. The native of Germany collected five goals and an assist in 25 matches (18 starts) with Chicago in 2022 and four and two, respectively, in 25 matches (11 starts) in 2023.
Przybylko has totaled 44 goals and 17 assists in 133 career matches (106 starts) with the Union and Fire.
