Giancarlo Stanton Crushes A Homer And Jose Fernandez Loses His Mind

The only Marlins highlights worth posting are ones that involve Giancarlo Stanton or Jose Fernandez. This one involves both, and it is wonderful.

During Saturday's game against the Nationals, Stanton stepped to the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning with his team down 1-0. That's when he went ahead and did what he was born to do: knock the ever-loving shit out of the baseball.

Cut to Jose Fernandez, who pitched six strong innings, finding himself so overcome by the majesty of Stanton's home run that he just completely loses his shit and very nearly starts speaking in tongues. Baseball can be pretty cool sometimes.
