Golden Knights G Adin Hill signs 6-year, $37.5M deal

Sylvanie-Imagn Images The Vegas Golden Knights signed goaltender Adin Hill to a six-year, $37.5 million contract on Friday, an average annual value of $6.25 million.
Hill, 28, is 24-11-4 in 39 games this season with a 2.53 goals-against average and .906 save percentage. His four shutouts are a career high, as are his wins.
He would have been an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season. He got a raise from his previous two-year deal that paid him an average of $4.9 million a year.
Hill is in his third season with the Golden Knights and was part of their Stanley Cup-winning team in 2023. In 101 regular-season games with Vegas, Hill's record is 59-30-7 with a 2.57 GAA and .910 save percentage.
In the 2022-23 postseason, Hill appeared in 16 games (14 starts) and posted an 11-4 record with a 2.17 GAA and .932 save percentage.
A third-round pick by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2015 NHL Draft, he has a career record of 88-62-12 with a 2.64 GAA and .909 save percentage with 11 shutouts in 175 regular-season games (162 starts) for the Coyotes, San Jose Sharks and Golden Knights.
The Golden Knights (39-19-7, 85 points) are in first place in the Pacific Division.
