Group grand finals set at BLAST Fall Groups

Complexity Gaming, Astralis, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Natus Vincere won the lower-bracket finals in their respective groups on Friday at the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024 event in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Complexity swept HEROIC in Group A, winning 13-5 on Anubis and 13-11 on Ancient, and will face Team Spirit in Saturday's group grand final. Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski led Complexity with 46 kills and a plus-23 kills-deaths differential.

Astralis rallied for a 2-1 win over Team Falcons in Group B, losing 16-13 on Dust II before winning 13-1 on Ancient and 13-9 on Nuke. Denmark's Victor "Staehr" Staehr had 52 kills and a plus-13 K-D ratio for Astralis, who will face Team Vitality in the group grand final.

Ninjas in Pyjamas swept FaZe Clan in Group C, winning 16-14 on Ancient and 13-11 on Inferno, and will take on G2 Esports in the group's grand final. Ukraine's Artem "r1nkle" Moroz led NIP with 50 kills and a plus-25 K-D ratio.

Finally, Natus Vincere swept BIG in Group D, winning 13-7 on Dust II and 13-3 on Mirage. NAVI got 34 kills and a plus-20 differential from Ukraine's Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov and will meet Team Liquid in the group grand final Saturday.

The Counter-Strike 2 event began with a double-elimination group stage, with the field split into four groups of four teams. All matches are best-of-three.

The winners of each group will advance directly to the Fall Final. The four second-place teams will proceed to the play-in stage, a pair of single-elimination, best-of-three matches to determine the remaining two berths for the Fall Final.
