Hassan Whiteside: Alex Len Mad "Because I Just Kept Dunking On Him"
Who knew the Heat and Suns loathed each other so much? Monday night's game was chippy—Markieff Morris flagrantly fouled former teammate Goran Dragic, and a few minutes later, Hassan Whiteside and Alex Len wrestled on the court. (Officials ejected Morris, Len, and Whiteside for their roles.) After the game, Whiteside, who said he wasn't entirely blameless, had a funny explanation for why Len lashed out.
Via the Palm Beach Post:
"It was about the fourth or fifth time I dunked on him and I feel like he was really frustrated," Whiteside said. "I shouldn't have came back an [sic] retaliated the way I did because it really hurt my team… but every day is a learning day for me. But that's what it was– it was just because I just kept dunking on him."
Hey, understandable. No one likes being dunked on.
