Islanders F Jean-Gabriel Pageau signs 3-year extension

Terms were not disclosed, but multiple reports put the total value at $14.55 million ($4.85 million per season).
The deal starts with the 2026-27 season and runs through 2028-29 for the 33-year-old veteran.
Pageau has 29 points (14 goals, 15 assists) in 55 games this season.
He has 395 points (173 goals, 222 assists) in 852 career games with his hometown Ottawa Senators (2012-20) and Islanders. Ottawa drafted him in the fourth round in 2011 and traded him to New York in February 2020.
