Jay Ajayi Has Had A Historic Two Games
Photo: Wilfredo Lee/ [object Object] Arian Foster’s ineffectiveness turned into Jay Ajayi’s opportunity, and the Dolphins running back has made the most of it in the last two weeks.
Ajayi shredded the Steelers’ run defense for 204 yards on 25 carries last Sunday, and today against the Bills, he reached the 200-yard mark again. This tackle-breaking 53-yard gain helped his cause:
Ajayi finished today with 214 yards on 29 touches today, and entered a small club of players with back-to-back games of at least 200 rushing yards:
Ajayi’s job seems to be safe: Foster had three rushing yards against Pittsburgh and five against Buffalo. The Dolphins, who won both games, have a bye next Sunday, so Ajayi can take the week off to figure out how to tear up the Jets’ front in Week 9.
