Jayson Williams Now Fighting Others Instead Of Himself (And Cops)
Jayson Williams—fresh off a hotel-smashing, taser-shooting, suicide scare—was arrested last night after a bar fight in Raleigh, North Carolina, but I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.
There is no information about what started the fight or who else was involved, but I'm just going to go ahead and blame the drunk guy who probably saw a famous athlete known for killing a dude and decided he might try to razz him a bit. Okay, this guy may or may not have been there last night, but you know that he exists and you also know that Williams will run into him many times before his life his over. That's why he should not hanging out in bad nightclubs to begin with, but that's another issue. Even if Williams is a mentally unstable man with anger management issues, something had to set the guy off, right? The idea of him marching into nightclubs and picking random fights with total strangers is too sad to contemplate. He's like a beehive that shouldn't be poked with a stick, but you some people just can't resist a good poke.
On the other hand ... no one should ever go to a club called the Ugly Monkey. So I guess it is his own fault.
