Kanaan Carlyle keys Stanford's OT win over Oregon St.

Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports Kanaan Carlyle recorded 22 points, six rebounds and six assists to help Stanford notch an 88-84 overtime victory over Oregon State on Thursday night in Pac-12 play at Corvallis, Ore.
Brandon Angel scored 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting and Maxime Raynaud amassed 18 points and 13 rebounds before fouling out for the Cardinal (8-7, 3-2 Pac-12). Michael Jones added 11 points for Stanford, which trailed by 12 points early in the second half.
Jordan Pope scored 21 points and Tyler Bilodeau added 17 for Oregon State (9-7, 1-4), which lost its third straight game. Dexter Akanno had 14 points and KC Ibekwe put up 11 points for the Beavers, who fell to 9-2 at home.
Angel drained a 3-pointer to give Stanford a 79-76 edge with 2:49 left in overtime. Carlyle added a turnaround jumper to make it a five-point margin with 1:56 to play and then split two free throws 41 seconds later as the Cardinal's lead reached 82-76.
Stanford later led by eight before Pope hit a 3-pointer and Bilodeau scored a putback off his own miss to pull Oregon State within 85-82 with 22 seconds left.
Carlyle made three of four free throws down the stretch to help the Cardinal hold on for their third win in the past four games.
Back-to-back baskets by Raynaud, the second on an alley-oop feed from Carlyle, pulled the Cardinal within 70-69 with 1:57 remaining in regulation. A layup 35 seconds later by Spencer Jones gave Stanford a one-point lead.
Michael Rataj split two free throws with 16.3 seconds left as the Beavers knotted the score at 73 to send the game to the extra session.
Oregon State shot 50.8 percent overall, including 8 of 18 (44.4 percent) from 3-point range.
The Cardinal made 52.5 percent of their shots and were 8 of 20 (40 percent) from behind the arc.
Pope hit a buzzer as time expired in the first half to give Oregon State a 39-34 lead at the break.
Pope connected on a 3-pointer to start the second half-scoring as the Beavers scored the first seven points to boost their lead to 12.
Stanford later scored six straight points to move within 52-46 on a basket by Benny Gealer with 13:40 left in the game.
Oregon State stretched its lead to 10 before Stanford scored 14 of the next 20 points to move within 62-60 with 5:06 left.
Pope made two free throws with 3:28 left to give the Beavers a 68-63 advantage.
