Kings C Domantas Sabonis (knee) to return Friday vs. Wizards
Nov 16, 2025; San Antonio, Texas, USA; Sacramento Kings forward Domantas Sabonis (11) shoots in the second half against the San Antonio Spurs at Frost Bank Center. Mandatory Credit: Daniel Dunn-Imagn Images Three-time All-Star big man Domantas Sabonis is expected to return from his left knee injury to play Friday night against the visiting Washington Wizards.
Sabonis has missed 27 games due to a partially torn meniscus in the knee. The Kings listed him as questionable to play.
The 6-foot-10 Sabonis, 29, averaged 17.2 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 11 games prior to the injury.
Sabonis' name could float in trade talks before the Feb. 5 deadline due to Sacramento's underachieving season. The Kings improved to 11-30 by winning their past three games, all by double digits over the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks.
The three-time rebounding champion was acquired by the Kings as part of the February 2022 trade that sent Tyrese Haliburton to the Indiana Pacers. Sabonis is in the second season of a four-year, $186 million deal.
