Kraken ride four-goal third period to win over Predators

Mandatory Credit: Steve Roberts-Imagn Images Jaden Schwartz, Oliver Bjorkstrand, Jared McCann and Adam Larsson each had a goal and an assist and the Seattle Kraken scored four third-period goals to defeat the host Nashville Predators 7-3 on Tuesday.
Ryker Evans, Brandon Tanev and Jordan Eberle also scored for Seattle, which went 2-1-0 on its three-game trip. Chandler Stephenson and Jamie Oleksiak added two assists apiece, and Kraken goaltender Joey Daccord made 30 saves.
Michael McCarron, Tommy Novak and Brady Skjei scored for Nashville, which lost its third straight game to open the season. Juuse Saros stopped 29 of 35 shots.
The Kraken broke a 3-3 tie with a pair of goals in the opening three minutes of the third period.
Schwartz took a lead pass from Bjorkstrand and beat Saros with a backhander at 1:19.
Eberle made it 5-3 on a wrist shot from the slot at 2:40.
McCann chipped the puck over Saros from the top right of the crease at 11:57 off a pass from Matty Beniers, and Larsson scored into an empty net at 17:56.
The teams, who had failed to score in the first period previously this season, combined for five goals in the first 20 minutes on Tuesday.
Seattle opened the scoring at 3:37 on a wrist shot by Evans from the top of the left faceoff circle.
The Kraken made it 2-0 at 7:07 as Schwartz's pass from his own zone created a two-on-one rush. Stephenson carried the puck down the right wing before making a cross-ice pass to Bjorkstrand, who beat Saros from the bottom of the left faceoff circle.
Nashville scored twice in a span of 2:13 to tie it.
McCarron beat Daccord high to the blocker side with a backhander at 14:47 to get the Predators on the board.
Novak tied it 17:00 on a one-timer from just outside the right post after a nifty cross-ice pass from Mark Jankowski.
The Kraken regained the lead at 19:27 as Tanev set up in front of the net and tipped Brandon Montour's shot from the right point over Saros' shoulder.
The Predators tied it at 3-3 at 17:17 of the second as Skjei scored on a rebound.
Kraken defenseman Vince Dunn returned to the lineup after missing the team's 2-0 loss at Dallas on Sunday with an upper-body injury.
