Ty Jerome scored a game-high 28 points and the Memphis Grizzlies used a 17-0 fourth-quarter spurt to rally for a 111-108 victory over the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco on Friday.

Rookie Cameron Boozer added 25 points, 13 rebounds and six assists for Memphis, which won its second straight game to begin the season. Jaylen Wells scored 17 and Cam Spencer chipped in 11 for the Grizzlies, who outscored Golden State 27-18 in the fourth quarter.

Stephen Curry's 24 points led the Warriors, while Brandin Podziemski and rookie Yaxel Lendeborg contributed 18 points apiece. In his second career game, Lendeborg also tallied 13 rebounds and six assists.

Graham Ike and De'Anthony Melton both scored 10 points for Golden State, which has dropped its first two games of the year for the first time since 2020-21.

After trailing by four at halftime, Golden State took its first lead of the third quarter on Podziemski's 3-pointer with 2:09 left to put the Warriors ahead 86-84.

Golden State finished the third on an 11-0 run and held a 90-84 advantage entering the final quarter.

Spencer hit a triple to cut Memphis' deficit to three with 6:54 left before Melton and Lendeborg made back-to-back treys and Podziemski sank a driving layup to extend Golden State's lead to 103-92.

Melton drilled another triple to make it a 12-point game with 3:47 to go, but the Grizzlies answered with 17 straight points, including Boozer's turnaround jumper to give the visitors a 108-106 lead with 20.1 seconds left.

Draymond Green was then whistled for an offensive foul and earned a subsequent technical foul with 12.8 seconds remaining. Jerome made the technical foul shot and hit a layup to give Memphis a 111-106 lead.

Lendeborg rebounded a Melton miss and was fouled with a half-second remaining. He made both foul shots to cut the deficit to three.

The Grizzlies then ran out the clock on the ensuing possession to ice the comeback win.

Podziemski sank each of his four first-quarter field-goal attempts, including a buzzer-beating runner, to help the Warriors take a 34-33 lead into the second quarter.

Trailing by a point, Memphis rattled off a 16-2 run and grabbed a 54-41 lead on Spencer's 3-pointer with 4:42 remaining in the first half.

A 10-0 Golden State run, stamped with Gui Santos' free throws, pulled the Warriors within a point. Jerami Grant finished the opening half with a three-point play to give the Grizzlies a 60-56 advantage at the break.
