Liverpool, Wrexham to meet in post-World Cup exhibition at Yankee Stadium

Reigning English Premier League champion Liverpool and Wrexham will play a preseason match at Yankee Stadium in New York on July 29, one of three U.S. games for Liverpool.
Liverpool also announced via social media that it will play matches against Premier League teams Leeds United and Sunderland in the United States.
Geodis Park in Nashville will host the match with Sunderland on July 25, and Leeds United will face Liverpool Aug. 2 at Soldier Field in Chicago.
Kickoff times were not announced.
This will be the third visit for Liverpool to the current Yankee Stadium.
Wrexham, a Welsh club which has been popularized by the docuseries "Welcome to Wrexham," has been owned since 2021 by American actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, who now goes by Rob Mac.
