Magic Johnson Has A Simple Two-Step Plan To Fix The Lakers
The Lakers are very, very bad. But Lakers legend Magic Johnson has thought it through, and if the front office is willing to listen, Magic has a way to turn the team’s fortunes around.
Sign the best player? Tell me more.
Sign the two best players.
You could say that Johnson sounds exactly like the sports radio caller who wonders why his team doesn’t just trade two crappy prospects for another team’s superstar, sure, and you could say that Johnson’s post-playing career has just been one long string of platitudes. And you could even argue there’s little-to-no chance of enticing either player to come to L.A. But you cannot deny that if the Lakers sign Kevin Durant and LeBron James, they will be a better basketball team.
If only Magic were GM.
