Mariners recall IF/OF Connor Joe from Triple-A Tacoma

Joe, 33, was sent to Triple-A Tacoma on May 22 after hitting .182 with one home run and three RBIs over 18 games to begin the season.
As a corresponding move, Seattle optioned outfielder Curtis Washington Jr. back to Single-A Everett. Washington was promoted to Seattle on Tuesday, but did not play in the game or make his major league debut.
Joe hit .242 with two home runs, seven doubles and nine RBIs in 24 games with Tacoma.
Joe signed with the Mariners as a free agent in February and has a career .238 hitter with 36 home runs and 148 RBIs in 498 games with the San Francisco Giants (2019), Colorado Rockies (2021-22), Pittsburgh Pirates (2023-24), San Diego Padres (2025), Cincinnati Reds (2025) and Mariners.
