Massive Brawl At Women's Basketball Game Results In 15 Suspensions
The Texas Southern and Southern University women's basketball teams brawled during a game on Saturday night, resulting in a double forfeit of the game and 15 suspensions. Yesterday, video of the brawl was posted by the The Advocate, and Texas Southern announced that it was withdrawing the women's basketball team from the SWAC tournament because it would not have enough players to compete. The Lady Tigers would have been the tournament's top seed.

Seven players from Southern and eight players from Texas Southern were suspended. Southern University guard Keonia Parrish was dismissed from the team outright.
