X-rays were negative after Crews was struck during a live batting practice on Saturday, according to MLB Network.
Crews was scratched from Sunday's lineup. He is batting .111 with one RBI through four games this spring.
Crews, who turned 24 last week, batted .208 with 10 homers, 27 RBIs and 17 steals in 85 games for the Nationals last season.
Drafted No. 2 overall by Washington in 2023, Crews has batted .211 with 13 homers, 35 RBIs and 29 stolen bases in 116 games since making his MLB debut in 2024.
