NHL roundup: Connor Hellebuyck, Jets shut out Predators

Mandatory Credit: Terrence Lee-Imagn Images Connor Hellebuyck made 22 saves for his league-leading fifth shutout of the season as the Winnipeg Jets defeated the visiting Nashville Predators 3-0 on Monday night.
Gabriel Vilardi had two goals and defenseman Dylan DeMelo also scored for Winnipeg, which tops the NHL with 27 wins and 55 points following its fourth consecutive victory. Nikolaj Ehlers and Kyle Connor each added two assists.
Juuse Saros stopped 25 shots for Nashville, which has dropped two in a row following a 3-0-1 stretch.
DeMelo opened the scoring with 2:42 left in the second period, his first goal of the season and first in 42 games dating back to April 11. Vilardi scored twice in a span of 1:02 late in the third, both on the power play.
Panthers 5, Rangers 3
Jesper Boqvist scored two goals to lead Florida past New York in Sunrise, Fla.
Eetu Luostarinen, Mackie Samoskevich and Aleksander Barkov also scored for the Panthers, who had been shut out in each of their previous two games. Sergei Bobrovsky made 33 saves in the win.
Filip Chytil, Ryan Lindgren and Chris Kreider scored while Igor Shesterkin made 21 saves for the Rangers, who have dropped seven of their past eight games but did end an 0-for-25 drought on the power play on Kreider's goal.
Kraken 5, Utah 2
Jaden Schwartz tallied a goal and two assists as Seattle defeated the visiting Utah Hockey Club.
Yanni Gourde, Andre Burakovsky, Matty Beniers and Jared McCann also scored and Kaapo Kakko had a pair of helpers for the Kraken, who won their second in a row following a five-game skid. Philipp Grubauer made 28 saves.
Logan Cooley and Alexander Kerfoot tallied for Utah, which lost its fourth consecutive game (0-3-1). Karel Vejmelka stopped 28 of 32 shots.
