Ole Miss hits century mark in blowout of Oral Roberts

Jaemyn Brakefield and Davon Barnes each added 13 points and Mikeal Brown-Jones had 12 for the Rebels (5-0), who had a 37-4 advantage in points off turnovers, committing just eight while being the recipients of 21. Ole Miss shot 53.6 percent from the floor.
Darius Robinson Jr. scored 19, Sam Alajiki had 14 and Issac McBride added 13 to lead the Golden Eagles (2-4).
Murrell's field goal started the second-half scoring and gave Ole Miss a 12-point lead before Oral Roberts twice trimmed the lead to eight.
Barnes and Eduardo Klafke each drained a 3-pointer and Brakefield added two field goals to help the Rebels expand the lead to 64-49.
Robinson hit a jumper, but Ole Miss answered with a 7-0 run to open a 71-51 lead. Carlos Rosario made two free throws for the Golden Eagles before the Rebels extended the lead to 23 midway through the half and continued to pull away, boasting a 50-28 scoring advantage in the second half.
Brown-Jones scored six during a 14-0 run that gave Ole Miss a 15-5 lead. Robinson made a jumper to end the run and Oral Roberts got within eight a second time before the Rebels twice took 12-point leads.
Robinson scored seven during a 9-0 run that pulled the Golden Eagles within 26-23. Pedulla's 3-pointer ended the run before McBride made a 3-pointer and converted a three-point play to tie the score.
Pedulla sank consecutive 3-pointers before Pablo Navarro nailed a 3-pointer for Oral Roberts. Murrell scored four points and Barnes had two as Ole Miss took a 41-32 lead.
Robinson's 3-pointer stopped the run, but the Rebels extended the lead to 11 before holding a 50-40 halftime lead.
