PARIVISION tops Team Spirit in ESL One Raleigh grand final

PARIVISION rallied to win the lower-bracket final, then defeated Team Spirit in the grand final on Sunday at the Dota 2 ESL One Raleigh event.
For winning the grand final, PARIVISION took home $250,000 in prize money, $40,000 in club money and 7,040 of the 27,920 ESL Pro Tour points available in the tournament. Team Spirit received $130,000 and $35,000 plus 4,800 EPT points.
The $1 million tournament in North Carolina -- the first ESL One event played in the United States since 2015 -- was the the fourth of five events that make up the ESL Pro Tour. DreamLeague Season 26 will be held in Europe from May 19-June 1.
In Raleigh, the 12 teams were split into two six-team groups for three days of round-robin play. Group-play matches were two games apiece, with ties possible. The top two teams from each group advanced to the upper bracket of the playoffs, the third- and fourth-place teams headed to the lower bracket and the fifth- and sixth-place teams were eliminated.
In a 3-1 victory in the grand final, PARIVISION jumped out to a 2-0 lead with 38- and 36-minute wins on green. Team Spirit stayed alive with a 40-minute victory on green. However, PARIVISION avoided a decisive fifth game, posting a 40-minute triumph on green to secure the title.
For PARIVISION, Russia's Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov posted an average 7.8/2/3.5 kill-death-assist ratio. Denis "Larl" Sigitov of Russia registered a 6/3.3/7.3 K-D-A ratio for Team Spirit.
In the lower-bracket final, Tundra Esports grabbed the lead with a 26-minute win on green, but PARIVISION bounced back with 27- and 77-minute victories on green to advance to the grand final.
Gallyamov guided PARIVISION with an average K-D-A ratio of 8.7/2/5.7, while Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov of Bulgaria paced Tundra Esports with a 6.7/5/7 K-D-A ratio.
