Pastor Holds One-Minute Church Service In Order To Make 49ers' Kickoff
This is Pastor Tim Christensen of Gold Hill Lutheran Church in Butte, Montana. He's a big 49ers fan, and unfortunately for him, his 11 a.m. service yesterday coincided with the kickoff of 49ers-Panthers. So Pastor Tim got a move-on.
"Would you all like to be forgiven for your sins? OK, that's great, you are."
In a way, that's just shorter Jesus!
Pastor Tim closed by inviting his parishioners to help themselves to a Eucharist buffet, kissing his biceps à la Colin Kaepernick, then doing a Superman reveal, foreshadowing Kaepernick's own version of Cam Newton's celebration.
