Rams activate CB Ahkello Witherspoon from injured reserve

Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-Imagn Images The Los Angeles Rams activated cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon from injured reserve and the veteran will be available for Sunday's road game against the Carolina Panthers.
Witherspoon came away from a Week 2 victory over the Tennessee Titans with a broken scapula and has missed the past 2 1/2 months as the Rams have built the best record in the NFL at 9-2.
Witherspoon, 30, had three tackles and one pass defended in limited action this season. In nine NFL seasons he has 238 tackles, 12 interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, and two fumble recoveries for the San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Rams.
