Bradford, 27, started the season on the injured list with elbow soreness and did not progress in rehab attempts. While it remains unknown if he will undergo Tommy John surgery, his absence is expected to extend into the 2026 season.
Bradford pitched in each of the two previous seasons for the Rangers, going 10-6 with a 4.28 ERA in 34 appearances (21 starts) for Texas in 2023 and 2024. The sixth-round draft pick in 2019 has 121 strikeouts to 25 walks in 132 1/3 innings.
