Rays acquire OF Ryan Vilade from Reds for cash

Mandatory Credit: David Richard-Imagn Images The Tampa Bay Rays acquired outfielder Ryan Vilade from the Cincinnati Reds for cash considerations on Monday.
Vilade, 26, has batted .141 with one homer and five RBIs in 28 career games with four MLB teams since his 2021 debut.
He only played in one game for the Reds this season after being claimed off waivers from the St. Louis Cardinals on June 14.
A second-round draft pick by the Colorado Rockies in 2017, Vilade has batted .280 with 71 homers, 407 RBIs and 107 steals in 847 games over eight seasons in the minors.
