Red Bull's Isack Hadjar (wrist) to miss Italian GP

Red Bull Racing driver Isack Hadjar will miss his second straight Formula 1 race as he continues to recover from a wrist injury.

The team confirmed Wednesday that Racing Bulls' Liam Lawson will again take the wheel at the Italian Grand Prix this weekend in Monza alongside teammate Max Verstappen.

Hadjar continues to make "encouraging progress" from the injury sustained during the summer break, the club said in a post on X.

"The Team is closely monitoring his rehabilitation and will take no unnecessary risks with his return to competition and wishes him a speedy recovery," Red Bull posted.

Lawson, 24, filled in for Hadjar at last weekend's Dutch Grand Prix and finished seventh.

Yuki Tsunoda, 26, once again will step up from his reserve role to replace Lawson at Racing Bulls.

Hadjar, 21, resides in eighth place in the current F1 standings with three top-five finishes in 11 starts.
