Reds acquire OF Dane Myers from Marlins

Myers has appeared in 172 total games across three seasons for Miami, recording 10 home runs, 59 RBIs and 23 stolen bases with a .245 batting average, .299 on-base percentage and .354 slugging percentage.
The 29-year-old has experience at all three outfield spots, including logging 68 games (58 starts) in center field last season. Baseball Savant ranks him in the 97th percentile in arm strength and 75th percentile in range.
O'Donnell was ranked as the Reds' No. 18 prospect by MLB Pipeline. He was a sixth-round pick in the 2023 draft. Last season, he posted seven home runs, 56 RBIs, and 20 steals with a .236 batting average for Double-A Chattanooga.
