Report: Free agent G Patty Mills to sign with Heat

Mills, 35, was waived by the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday. He is averaging 2.7 points, 1.1 rebounds and 10.6 minutes in 19 games off the bench this season. He is shooting 37.3 percent from the floor and 38.2 percent from 3-point range.
Mills has averages of 8.9 points and 2.2 assists in 879 career games (107 starts) with the Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs, Brooklyn Nets and Hawks. He won the 2013-14 NBA championship with the Spurs.
Atlanta acquired Mills from the Oklahoma City Thunder in a trade on July 12, 2023.
