Report: Isaiah Thomas To Suns In Sign-And-Trade
With LeBron's signing out of the way, the rest of the free agency dominoes are starting to fall like many predicted.
Sacramento Kings guard Isaiah Thomas, who was linked to numerous teams, now seems to be on the move to Phoenix, according to Adrian Wojnarowski (who knows everything).
Thomas could be one of the steals of this year's free agency period. He averaged 20.3 points per game for a forgettable Kings team last season, and will join an exciting Suns squad, although it's unclear what Phoenix plans to do with a crowded backcourt. Breakout star Goran Dragic is still under contract, while speedster Eric Bledsoe toils in restricted free agency. (The Suns are expected to match any offer for Bledsoe. )
The Kings' direction is even more unclear. They acquired Rudy Gay last season, Boogie Cousins vacillates from dominant to malcontent, and though Thomas was one of their best players, Sacramento apparently had no interest in keeping him. What are they up to? Who knows.
