Report: Nationals sign RHP Trevor Gott to minor-league contract

Mandatory Credit: Vincent Carchietta-Imagn Images The Washington Nationals signed right-hander Trevor Gott to a minor league contract, The Athletic reported Saturday.
The 33-year-old is 16-15 with six saves and a 4.65 ERA over 255 career relief appearances over eight seasons for six different clubs. He was with the Nationals for parts of three seasons (2016-18) when he had a 7.39 ERA in 33 appearances.
Gott has also pitched for the Los Angeles Angels, San Francisco Giants, Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners, and New York Mets.
Last in the major leagues in 2023, Gott was 3-3 with a 7.40 ERA during 2025 while in the Seattle Mariners' system as he made his return from a 2024 Tommy John surgery.
