He did not come to terms on a new deal with the MLS club and will enter free agency when his contract expires at the end of December, The Athletic reported Monday.
Coronel, 28, made 159 MLS regular-season starts with New York from 2021-25 and recorded 44 clean sheets.
The Paraguay international helped NYRB reach the MLS Cup final in 2024 and recorded double-digit shutouts for the second time with 10 in 2025 (13 in 2021).
The Red Bulls have goalkeepers John McCarthy and AJ Marcucci under contract and 17-year-old U.S. youth standout Aidan Stokes coming up through the ranks.
