Report: Pelicans sign G Malcolm Hill to two-way contract

The 6-foot-6 Hill, 28, leads the G League in points with an average of 24.6 per game playing for the Pelicans' affiliate in Birmingham. He's averaging 5.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game and is shooting 44.3 percent from 3-point range.
Hill signed a 10-day contract with the Pelicans on Jan. 27 but didn't see any NBA action. He also attended training camp with the Pelicans in the fall.
Undrafted, Hill has played 24 games in the NBA, averaging 3.2 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. He split the 2021-22 season between the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls, then played five games the following season with the Bulls.
