Report: Senators close to 4-year deal with D Jordan Spence

Mandatory Credit: Marc DesRosiers-IMAGN Images Restricted free agent defenseman Jordan Spence is close to signing a four-year, $20 million contract with the Senators, the Ottawa Citizen reported Friday.
Spence, 25, recorded 31 points (seven goals, 24 assists) and a plus-15 rating in 73 games last season with the Senators. He is coming off a two-year, $3 million contract.
Spence has totaled 92 points (15 goals, 77 assists) and a plus-44 rating in 253 career games with the Los Angeles Kings and Senators. He was selected by the Kings in the fourth round of the 2019 NHL Draft.
