Report: Timberwolves acquire G Ayo Dosunmu from Bulls

Mandatory Credit: Jim Rassol-Imagn Images The Minnesota Timberwolves acquired guard Ayo Dosunmu as part of a four-player, four-draft pick trade with the Chicago Bulls, ESPN reported Thursday.
The Timberwolves also acquired forward Julian Phillips from the Bulls in exchange for guard Rob Dillingham, forward Leonard Miller and four second-round picks.
The report came approximately five hours ahead of the NBA's trade deadline at 3 p.m. ET.
Dosunmu, 26, departs Chicago after starring at nearby Morgan Park in high school, playing collegiately at Illinois and joining the Bulls as a second-round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
Dosunmu is averaging 15.0 points and 3.6 assists in 45 games (10 starts) this season. He is shooting 51.4% from the field and 45.1% from 3-point range.
Phillips, 22, is contributing 2.8 points in 35 games (two starts) in 2025-26.
Dillingham, 21, is averaging 3.5 points and 1.7 assists in 35 games off the bench this season for the Timberwolves.
Miller, 22, is contributing 2.3 points in 19 games off the bench this season.
