Dominguez, 31, is expected to serve as the closer for the White Sox, who have been active this winter.
Chicago signed Japanese slugger Munetaka Murakami to a two-year, $34 million contract last month. The White Sox also added left-handers Anthony Kay and Sean Newcomb as well as infielder Luisangel Acuna in the Luis Robert Jr. trade with the New York Mets on Tuesday.
Dominguez posted a 4-4 record with two saves and a 3.16 ERA in 67 relief appearances split between the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays last season. He joined the Blue Jays just prior to the trade deadline.
He owns a 23-23 record with 40 saves and a 3.50 ERA in 322 career relief appearances for the Philadelphia Phillies, Orioles and Blue Jays.
