Reports: Patriots adding Ben McAdoo as offensive assistant

McAdoo, 46, spent the 2022 season as the offensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers before being dismissed in February 2023.
He also served two seasons as the head coach of the New York Giants in 2016-17, compiling a 13-15 regular-season record. He spent two seasons as their offensive coordinator in 2014-15.
McAdoo worked with new Patriots offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt during two seasons with the Green Bay Packers in 2012-13. McAdoo was the Packers' quarterbacks coach at the time, while Van Pelt coached the running backs.
