Reports: RHP Cal Quantrill agrees to deal with Marlins

Mandatory Credit: Jonathan Hui-Imagn Images The Miami Marlins and right-hander Cal Quantrill agreed to terms on a one-year, major league contract, multiple media outlets reported on Wednesday.
Quantrill, who turned 30 on Monday, was a 15-game winner for Cleveland in 2022 before his fortunes changed over the last two seasons.
He posted a 4-7 record with a 5.24 ERA in 19 starts with the Guardians in 2023 and an 8-11 mark with a 4.98 ERA in 29 starts with the Colorado Rockies in 2024.
Quantrill is 43-34 with a 4.07 ERA in 161 career games (123 starts) with the San Diego Padres (2019-20), Guardians (2020-23) and Rockies (2024).
