Reports: Tigers RHP Kyle Finnegan agrees to 2-year contract

The Tigers have yet to confirm the reports, however.
Finnegan, who was born in Detroit, posted a 4-4 record with 24 saves and a 3.47 ERA in 56 relief appearances last season split between the Washington Nationals and Tigers.
Detroit acquired the 34-year-old Finnegan from Washington on July 31 in exchange for pitching prospects Josh Randall and R.J. Sales.
An All-Star in 2024, Finnegan is 26-30 with 112 saves and a 3.55 ERA in 347 career games (zero starts) since making his MLB debut with Washington in 2020. The right-hander has struck out 343 batters in 347 1/3 innings.
In six postseason games with the Tigers in 2025, Finnegan was 1-1 with a 3.68 ERA. He allowed three runs in 7 1/3 innings.
