Reports: Warriors signing G Brandon Williams

The Golden State Warriors are signing free agent guard Brandon Williams to a one-year, $2.6 million contract, his agent told multiple media outlets on Tuesday.

Williams is the Warriors' first signing of a player outside the organization this offseason.

The 26-year-old played in 66 games (15 starts) for Dallas last season and averaged 13.0 points, 3.9 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 22.2 minutes.

For his career, Williams averages 10.7 points, 3.2 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 19.3 minutes in 140 games (34 starts) for the Portland Trail Blazers (2021-22) and Mavericks (2023-26).
