Sengun sustained the injury with 39.1 seconds left in the game after landing awkwardly following a shot contest. He fouled Sacramento's Domantas Sabonis on the play, then curled up under the basket in pain while grabbing his right knee.
ESPN later reported that Sengun was scheduled to get an MRI exam on his right knee and ankle on Monday.
Prior to exiting, Sengun had 14 points and six rebounds. Houston still managed to pull out a win, beating the Kings 112-104 to sweep the three-game season series.
In 63 games (all starts) this season, Sengun has averaged career highs in points (21.1), rebounds (9.3) and assists (5.0). He is shooting 53.7 percent from the floor and 29.7 percent from beyond the arc.
Sengun, 21, was a first-round pick (16th overall) by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2021 but has played all 210 games (148 starts) of his three-year NBA career with the Rockets.
