Roy Hibbert's Attempted Game-Winner Was, Um, Not Good
Roy Hibbert's box score from last night's game against the Lakers is nothing to sneeze at—12 points and 11 rebounds in 29 minutes is ...fine—but the Pacers' giant did not end the game on a high note.
After Kobe Bryant's late jumper put the Lakers up 88-87, the Pacers had a chance to run one last play to steal the win. This is how that play ended:
In fairness to Hibbert, the play had clearly broken down and he really has no business being asked to take a shot like that, but damn, man. Top of the backboard! While shooting for the win! That's so sad!
