Russell Westbrook Dunked The Nuggets Out Of The Arena
The Denver Nuggets, a bad basketball team, actually gave the Oklahoma City Thunder a close game last night. A rejuvenated Danilo Gallinari hung 27 on them, Kenneth Faried did some Kenneth Faried things, and rookie point guard Emmanuel Mudiay managed to play 33 not-totally-embarrassing minutes. Denver still lost 110-104, because I’m pretty sure each of these Russell Westbrook dunks counted for five points:
It’s always fun when the floor mics are able to clearly pick up Westbrook’s post-dunk roars. You may find them over the top, but what other noise is a guy supposed to make when he’s dunking hard enough to put a new fault in the earth’s crust?
