Mandatory Credit: Mitch Stringer-Imagn Images Saturday's game between the Boston Red Sox and host Orioles has been moved up from 4:05 p.m. ET to 12:05 p.m. due to inclement weather expected in the Baltimore area.
Highs near Camden Yards in Baltimore are expected to be in the low 60s on Saturday with an increasing probability of precipitation in the late afternoon and into the evening.
Tickets for the originally scheduled start will be honored with no action needed by ticket holders, and the Hockey Jersey giveaway will take place for the first 20,000 fans.
In third place in the American League East standings at 12-13, the Orioles are expected to send left-handed pitcher Trevor Rogers (2-2, 4.08 ERA) to the mound Saturday against fellow lefty Garrett Crochet (2-3, 7.88) for the Red Sox (9-16), who are on a three-game losing streak going into Friday night's matchup and sit in the AL East basement.
