Sebastian Aho rescues Hurricanes in OT against Penguins

Mandatory Credit: James Guillory-Imagn Images Sebastian Aho's goal 1:30 into overtime gave the Carolina Hurricanes a 4-3 win over the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday.
Seth Jarvis had two goals and an assist, Aho added two assists and defenseman Jalen Chatfield also scored for the Hurricanes. Dustin Tokarski stopped 16 shots.
Defenseman Erik Karlsson had a goal and an assist and Kevin Hayes and Michael Bunting scored for the Penguins. Alex Nedeljkovic made 26 saves.
Aho punched in the rebound of a shot by defenseman Dmitri Orlov for the winner.
Tokarski stopped Hayes at 6:15 and Blake Lizotte at 8:27 of the third period on partial breakaways.
Karlsson tied the game 3-3, 1:51 into the third period on a one-time slap shot from the left circle.
Carolina scored three times in the second period to take a 3-2 lead.
Jarvis got his first goal 4:15 into the middle period. It came on a one-timer from the slot off the rush. Chatfield tied the game with 7:15 left in the second on a wrist shot from the slot that was also on the rush. Jarvis' second goal, with 3:42 remaining in the second period, gave the Hurricanes the lead. He took a pass as he came down the slot, made a move and beat Tokarski with a forehand shot.
Pittsburgh scored twice on their first three shots in a 1:21 span to take a 2-0 lead.
Hayes got the game's first goal 3:47 in as he beat Tokarski from the right circle on a 2-on-1 rush. Bunting's marker came at 5:08 when he put in a wrist shot from the slot after taking a pass from Karlsson. The Penguins only had two more shots the remainder of the first period and Carolina had nine shots in the first 20 minutes.
Pittsburgh defenseman Kris Letang returned after missing three games with a lower-body injury. The Penguins also put forward Philip Tomasino on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.
The Hurricanes placed defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere on injured reserve.
