Jordan Woodruff Sentinels and Disguised each won their Round 3 mid matches on Saturday at the League Championship Series 2026 Lock-In in Los Angeles.
Sentinels rallied from an early deficit to defeat Team Liquid 2-1 and remain in third place at 2-1, then Disguised broke a 1-1 tie to take down LYON and remained in fourth place, also at 2-1.
Using a Swiss style format with three rounds, the matches are best-of-three, except the last-chance tiebreaker is best-of-one. After the three rounds, the 3-0 team will choose its opponent from among the three 2-1 teams for the upper bracket. The 0-3 team will be eliminated.
Among the trio of 1-2 teams, the one with the best game record will auto-advance as the fifth seed in the lower bracket. The remaining two teams will compete in the last-chance tiebreaker to claim the sixth and final seed in the playoffs.
The playoffs will be double-elimination, with all matches best-of-five. The overall winner qualifies for the 2026 First Stand Tournament.
Because they each can finish no worse than 2-1 in the Swiss stage, Cloud9 and FlyQuest will qualify for the tournament.
Dignitas will face elimination in the low match in Round 3 on Sunday.
On Saturday, Team Liquid opened with a 29-minute win on red against Sentinels, which rebounded with a 46-minute victory on red to even the match. In the decisive game, Sentinels prevailed in 33 minutes on blue. Cho "Rahel" Min-seong of South Korea notched a 25/8/18 kill-death-assist ratio for Sentinels, while Brandon "Josedeodo" Villegas of Argentina posted a 7/9/26 K-D-A ratio for Team Liquid.
Disguised pulled off a 33-minute win on red to gain the early upper hand, but LYON pulled even with a 31-minute victory on blue. Not to be denied, Disguised secured a 28-minute triumph in red to earn the win. For Disguised, Sajed "sajed" Ziade of the United States led the way with a K-D-A of 15/5/8. Kang "Saint" Seong-in of South Korea paced LYON with a K-D-A ratio of 7/11/12.
