Steelers vs. Bengals - 2nd Quarter
This image was lost some time after publication. • The Steelers answer and grab a little bit of the momentum back with a touchdown via a Ben Roethlisberger to Willie Parker screen pass. 10-7 Bengals.
• Troy Polamalu picks up an inexcusable unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after a sissy slap to the face of an offensive lineman, giving the Bengals a 1st and goal at the 9-yard-line. The Steelers D looks like it's going to hold, and then James Farrior gets called for an illegal contact penalty giving them another 1st down, this one back at the 11. The Bengals finally capitalize with a T.J. Houshmandzadeh touchdown, pushing the lead back to 17-7.
• Roethlisberger answers again, this time finding Hines Ward on a slant in the endzone. It's nice to see a playoff game that actually features two capable offenses.
• 17-14 is how this one is going to the half. It's got hard hitting, bad blood, capable offenses, some storylines, and even if one team starts to pull away a little bit in the 2nd half, there's a real chance of a brawl breaking out.
