Steph Curry Hits 13 Threes, Breaking Single-Game Record
Photo credit: Ben Margot/ [object Object] One game after failing to make a single three-pointer for the first time in 157 games, Steph Curry went crazy on the Pelicans and broke the single-game record by hitting 13 threes. He shot 13-for-17 from three on the evening, and ended up with 46 points in the Warriors win.
The best of the baker’s dozen was this second-quarter bomb, where Curry ran onto a lackadaisical pass from Klay Thompson, then just kept going through two defenders before pulling up from deep.
Curry showed off his full range of skills tonight, ducking around screens to create little pockets of space, pulling up right when his defender lurched off of him, and dribbling himself around any help defenders sent his way. The Warriors needed all 13, since the Pelicans hung around for most of the game. Here’s the full highlight reel.
